I think you have (almost?) answered your own question.

o Select *one* cell of your range - e.g. your A2.
o Go to Format | Conditional Formatting... .
o With "Condition 1" ticked, select "Formula is".
o In the Cell Value Condition box, enter: WEEKDAY(A2;2)>5
o For Cell Style, select Green. You need either already to have
defined a "Green" cell style or else to create one on the fly using
the New Style... button.
o Now copy that formatting to other cells in your range. You can do
this either by using the Format Paintbrush or by copying A2 and
pasting it over the range, but using Paste Special... and selecting
*just* Formats in the Paste Special dialogue.

Alternatively there is a quite different technique using the STYLE()
function. Modify your original formulae to read:

=+STYLE(IF(WEEKDAY(CURRENT();2)>5;"Green"))

I trust this helps.

Hello,

Thanks for your thoughtful reply!

I agree the best option is to use a propoer digital signature. When
properly done, it might be even more secure than a handwritten
signature?

Interesting point about the Creative Commons license, do you have
examples of how it's used in a real-world case?

Thanks!

One way to do this is to have another column with column Weekday using the
formula you suggested. Then you have two options: either use conditional
formatting to set the background of the Weekday column OR use conditional
formatting with Condition set to "Formula is" and point to the weekday in
the same row and have the background changed accordingly.

Hope this helps

2015-09-13 Thread Tim---Kracked_P_P---webmaster

Which version did you install 32-bit or 64-bit?
Since 99% of the XP systems are 32-bit, that is important.

I would uninstall it at the Control Panel / Programs menu and then
restart the system. Then download/install 4.4.5 to see if it works for
you. If so, then make sure you are downloading the 32-bit version of
5.0.1, if you still want to upgrade to the 5.0.x line.

The direct link is . . .
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.0.1.2/win/x86/

You will need to download - - LibreOffice_5.0.1.2_Win_x86.msi

and if you are using USA English, download - -
LibreOffice_5.0.1.2_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi

If you are getting the same error[s], then it may be that Win XP does
not like to run LibreOffice 5.x.x

Re: [libreoffice-users] LibreOffice Damaged

This is slightly off the topic . . . .
Is there any reason[s] why you have not upgraded to the free version of
Win10 [Home or Pro]?

Or, are you satisfied with the tiled desktop in Win8.1?

Although Win10 does have its issues, same with Win8.x, it does have the
tiles in the new version of its "Start Menu".

-

As for the install issue[s]. . . .

You should go to the "Programs and Features" section of the Control
Panel and try to uninstall an version of LibreOffice that is listed.

Then deal with the removal/renaming of the LibreOffice folders for both
4.4.x and 5.0.x [at main folder level] that hold the User Profile and
all the other info/files there. This link will point you in the correct
area of the system folder[s] where the LibreOffice folders are located.
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile#Resetting_the_User-Profile

Restart the computer.

Then download a new install file - 4.4.5 or the 5.0.x version. Install
LibreOffice again.

This should give you a clean, and working, install of LibreOffice.

This process has worked for me with XP, Vista, and Win7.
I have no Win 8.x systems.
I am installing Win10 on most of my Win7 systems, when I have time and
can dig the "spare systems" out of under-counter storage and set it up
somewhere there is space of another system.
