BricsCAD runs on Linux too, making it, combined with Calc, a nice and powerful combo. First thing I did after watching was trying all paste options without success. But it is good to know that clipboard data contains formulas. As a second approach I unzipped a Calc file and tried to import content.xml and got an error in BricsCAD: "Failed to find 'Workbook/Worksheet/Table' node in XML data." I guess it only expects Excel. I will leave a comment at the blog entry... Bruce, I tried your suggestions without success. On the other hand: There is nothing wrong with importing cvs, it is a working solution. And it was nice to see someone use Calc. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
Re: [libreoffice-users] Pasting data from LO Calc to BricsCAD
You might try this: Tools > Options > Calc > View then Under "Display" set X = Formulas Now perform the copy and paste. Or you can save the Calc sheet as a CSV with formulas. File > Save As (select Text CSV) and set X = Edit filter settings In the next pop-up set X = Save cell formulas instead of calculated values On Mon, Jul 10, 2017 at 9:02 PM, Brian Barker wrote: > At 23:52 10/07/2017 +0200, Wiebe van der Worp wrote: > >> I was watching this video: https://blog.bricsys.com/tutor >> ials/bricscad-spreadsheet-import/ It describes two methods to get data >> from a spreadsheet to a CAD table entity. Re: [libreoffice-users] Fwd: + session of Calc: everything scares frightfully.
From my experience Ubuntu Mate is really UNSTABLE (sadly!). That's why I use to install Linux Mint MATE to my customers. To install LibreOffice's official PPA follow this link, please. https://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Ufficio/LibreOffice Just below: "Utilizzare versioni piĆ¹ recenti" Cheers. --- Gabriele Ponzo 2017-07-11 9:48 GMT+02:00 Paolo Del Romano : > 2017-07-11 1:11 GMT+02:00 Steve Edmonds : > > > > > > There are some memory consumption bugs with LO but it might take some > time > > to notice it with 14GB RAM. > > I have 32GB and it is usually a few weeks before I start noticing. > > > > There is this older thread similar. > > http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Slow-response-time-with-Calc- > td4202227.html > > You could try updateing to LO 5.2 > > steve > > > > Exact.
