Re: [libreoffice-users] Writer Document is dark

2018-08-15 Thread Peggy
Thank you so much! Somehow the page area wasn't set to "none." I always
save in ODT.
I'm so grateful, you can't imagine. The thought of doing the work all over
again was really discouraging.

You have probably added a page background. You should check the menu
Format > Page > Area, and verify that it is set to None. Also, if you
are using one of Microsoft file formats to save the document, please
switch to the LibreOffice ODT native file format and use the Microsoft
DOC/DOCX file format only when you have to share the file with other
users (the Microsoft file format is less robust and more malware prone
than the LibreOffice ISO standard file format).

[libreoffice-users] Writer Document is dark

2018-08-15 Thread Peggy
I have been editing a document that I created. When I opened it to finish
the last of the editing, It unusable. The pages are dark in a graduating
way. The top is unreadable and gradually it lightens towards the bottom.

I dread having to edit it again. I worked for hours on the file. Has anyone
had this happen? Is there a way to fix it?

Thank you so much for any help!
