Re: [libreoffice-users] Libo Extensions & Templates
I don't have an idea on a) For b) In the top right hand corner is a menu Item "Maintainer Info" Here is the resultant URL https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/using-this-site-as-an-extension-maintainer/ Read that page and you will see exactly what to do to gain access to the admin page. Under the new system extensions and templates, as far as I can tell, are treated exactly the same. [libreoffice-users] Writer Comments Have Faintly Printed Indicator Lines
I’m having an aggravating problem with using a comments feature in LibreOffice writer. As you may know, each comment in the right margin of the document has dashed lines that go out to a “carrot” indicator in the main body of the document. When I enable the print option “comments in the margins,” the printed comments’ dashed lines are too faint and thin to read easily. I can’t find a way to increase the thickness of the dashed lines to make them more legible. I’ve tried adjusting the font size within the comments, but the dashed line thickness remains fixed. I’m printing with a black-and-white only laser printer. The grayscale of the printed dashed lines varies according to the color of the comment. So, I can darken them a little by cycling through the colors and picking a darker one. That helps readability somewhat, but the dashed comment lines are still too thin. I have to cycle through the colors using a clumsy trick detailed in various places, for example: https://askubuntu.com/questions/60116... Is there an easier way to select a comments background color in the newest version of LO? I’m running LO Version: 6.4.3.2 (x64), on Win 10. -- Sent from: http://document-foundation-mail-archive.969070.n3.nabble.com/Users-f1639498.html -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy

For some unknown reason, I am not receiving emails from [libreoffice-users] via my Thunder Bird email client (imap account). You will receive most messages from the LibreOffice Users mailing list, but not any sent from some domains, including - as M. Gauthier's - from yahoo.com. This is because the administrators of the LibreOffice Users list refuse to make any one of a number of possible configuration changes to the mailing list processor to correct this problem. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMARC . Your mail provider is merely following the rules in rejecting some messages. Indeed, I suspect that this message from me will also appear in the archive but not be received by *some* mailing list subscribers, whose mail providers simply obey the standards and reject my messages as forwarded by the list. (So I'm copying this to you privately.) The current situation at the list s tedious and unsupportable. Hi Remy: Thank you for your reply, which I found on the Mail-Archive.com. For some unknown reason, I am not receiving emails from [libreoffice-users] via my Thunder Bird email client (imap account). As for the red-box issue, it resolved itself after I closed and reopened the LO Calc file that I was working on; so, I am happy again. :-) I have been using AOO-Calc for a while, and am now making a slow transition to LO; viewing YouTube tutorial videos (https://thefrugalcomputerguy.com/) for Calc and Base. Appreciate your information. Please be well and stay safe. Sorry, I don't know very much about this subject, but AFAICT you are blaming an innocent party here. The DMARC standard is, AIUI, an ill-thought out disaster as far as mailing lists are concerned and the blame should therefore be attached to mail providers such as Yahoo who apply such a flawed standard without due consideration. To me, it's more an indication to avoid Yahoo and its ilk than any criticism of this or any other list experiencing such problems. > Brian Barker -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
