Re: [libreoffice-users] Impress issue - Number of pages in PDF or printed handouts
Hi :) You might want to post a bug-report but use the subject-line and perhaps the drop-down menus to make it clear that it is a feature request (or wishlist) item. Both these 2 links give the same end-result but you might be forced to use the 2nd link because i don't think the 1st one is really made for feature requests (it's worth trying tho!) https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport Good luck and regards from Tom :) --- On Thu, 19/4/12, Guillaume Pomerleau g.pomerl...@live.ca wrote: From: Guillaume Pomerleau g.pomerl...@live.ca Subject: [libreoffice-users] Impress issue - Number of pages in PDF or printed handouts To: users@global.libreoffice.org Date: Thursday, 19 April, 2012, 16:23 Hello all, I am a user of LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 under Ubuntu 10.04 (but soon moving to 12.04 :) ) I'm writing to make a suggestion for Impress, more precisely in the Printing and PDF exporting options. Background: It is currently possible to export an .ODP to .PDF (single slide). Under the Print option, it is also possible to print to a file (.PDF) with multiple slides per page (Handouts). Also under the print option, when selecting other information to print, I have the 3 following Contents choices: adding the Slide name, the Date and Hidden pages. (see Impress Documentation, Chapter 10 Printing, E-mailing, Exporting, and Saving Slide Shows, page 7) Suggestion: What I would like to suggest is to add in this Contents menu the choice Page number, so that I could add the page number on my Handout. (see Impress Documentation, Chapter 10 Printing, E-mailing, Exporting, and Saving Slide Shows, page 7) For example, I have a Handout of 2 numbered slides on one .PDF page (with Print to file option), but I cannot add the page number via Impress. Additional suggestion: Furthermore, when converting directly to .PDF (either with the Save as PDF, the Export to PDF or the PDF button of the Standard menu bar), it would be nice to add the option of a Handout there, with the same Contents menu, i.e. add the page number to the handout. I hope everything was clear since French is my first language ;) Thank you very much guys, Guillaume Pomerleau -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

[libreoffice-users] Impress issue
I'm using master pages to put a different background in each section my presentation is divided into. After save and reopen the document all pages appear with same background, believe it's from the last slide been edited. [libreoffice-users] Impress issue on Windows XP
Hello, I've been trying out LO 3.3 rc3 on a Windows XP Home machine, running with a dual screen setup, and I am having an issue with presentations. When I go into the presentation (F5), it brings up the presenter screen in my main window, and the presentation in my secondary screen, just as it should. The problem is that while the presentation is playing, I need to be able to minimize the presenter screen, to do other things on the computer. OOo 3.2.1 allowed me to do this, obviously, since by default, it doesn't include the presenter screen. Is there a way to completely minimize the presenter screen, while the slideshow is still playing? I tried just hitting CTRL-ESC and tapping the show desktop window (or Windows Key - D), but it didn't seem to have the desired effect as it minimizes everything, including the presentation. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Impress-issue-on-Windows-XP-tp2295698p2295698.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to users+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
