[libreoffice-users] Re: Table of Contents Editing

I found out that if I were to uncheck the box to protect the table of
contents from manual changes, I can select the entire thing, click the table
icon, and everything would pop into a table, where I would be able to better
organize the text by playing with the indents.

But this isn't the best option as everytime I update the table I would have
to repeat the process, albeit it still beats manually logging the changes.

You might try saving a template with TOC form check box changed. I tried
this and seems to work when I opened the template. I would try this
before editing the default template.

I appreciate the Table of Contents issue . I gave up and created a table
with three columns and filled it in manually . That way I can get the
format I want . Yes, it takes more time and needs to be edited along the
way . And I end up with what I want .
