Hi Ralf,
what happens is that your table receives the default table style (rightmost tab
in the styles sidebar deck or table > Autoformat), which is defined with serif
font but has no means yet to disable this property. You can create your own
table style (modify the table as you like and use Table > Autoformat Styles...
> Add) and apply this to the new tables.
