[libreoffice-users] first article on LibreOffice/OpenOffice little known features online
Greetings, you may remind that a couple months ago I had asked your opinion on what are the least known features of the free office suites. That project was a bit delayed, but in case you missed it, the first article is now finally online at: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/opensource/seven-great-features-of-openoffice-and-libre-office-that-you-probably-ignore/4372?tag=mantle_skin;content you're obviously very welcome to join the discussion at TechRepublic and to provide even more tips for future articles. Nice article. Variables are indeed a powerful feature, as is all of LO's amazing template and style scheme. I posted it to redit, BTW. http://www.reddit.com/r/libreoffice/comments/1eyvca/seven_underappreciated_libreoffice_features/ -- Adam Tauno Williams mailto:awill...@whitemice.org GPG D95ED383 Systems Administrator, Python Developer, LPI / NCLA -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Marco, There is a lot more: - With SVG native handled + some macro's + the PDF export, LO/OO is now a full DTP production tool - Using the Elaix extension make it also a full EPUP/HTML5 production tool Greetz Fernand On 24/05/2013 13:54, M. Re: [libreoffice-users] first article on LibreOffice/OpenOffice little known features online
Hi :) It's great to see another good article about LibreOffice and i like the way it discusses both suites together and mentions other FOSS Office Suites as being part of the same ecosystem. It doesn't use the tired term co-operative competition but hints at it nicely. There were a couple of things that i had no idea about that might be really quite useful for me. I really liked that. Gathering such knowledge is one of the reasons i signed up for this mailing list. Back then i had hoped that by dealing with basics or dealing with initial responses i might free up some of the experts to get on with more indepth or more challenging answers.
