Hi :) So just editing the paths in Tools - Options - Paths doesn't work? Sorry, I have run out of ideas myself. --Dan On 02/20/2013 10:18 AM, Karen DInse wrote: Dan, Here are the steps I took. Tools, Customize, Menus. Re: [libreoffice-users] Re: Moving Templates from 3.5.5 to 4.0
I am confused. when I use Tools -> Customize, the Customize dialog opens. I don't see where I can select /New Document from Template/ nor /Template Manager/. What do see at the top is four tabs with /Menus/ selected with /File/ menu as the default for the dropdown list. Perhaps you could give me better directions? However, if I click the /Toolbars/ tab with the Customize dialog open, I see the Toolbar page. /Standard/ is the default value for the dropdown menu of toolbars. There I see /New Documents from Template/. If it is not checked, I can check it. This places its icon in the Standard toolbar directly below the Menu tool bar approximately below /Edit/. Now when I want to use one of my templates, I click the icon, the Template Manager opens. I then click /My Templates/ and select the template I want to use. I describe what I have done as: Tools -> Customize -> Toolbars. Check /New Documents from Template/ if it is not checked. Click OK to close the dialog. Now the Standard toolbar has the /New Documents from Template/ icon. Any time you have Writer open, you click this icon to open the Templates Manager. From here you can select the template you want to use. --Dan On 02/19/2013 03:35 PM, Karen DInse wrote: We found a 'work around'.
