Hi :)
You can return to factory defaults by renaming your User Profile

Subject: [libreoffice-users] query for help ...

... please explain how to get this program to return to the default
-
somehow the 'slide pane' in Impress shifted and won't return
to its locked position.
This happened once before - when you were still OpenOffice ... at
that time, I was only able to fix it by deleting the program then
re-installing it;
now, that does not work ... I've searched your site for help ...
I've deleted the program thrice now, then cleaned out the caches, then
re-installed the program only to find that somehow the re-install has
picked up the deleted program's problems.

I'm sure there is some way to make this program go to default ...
I'm sure there is some way to contact someone ...
           but I'm becoming very frustrated.

[I really liked having the e-mail newsletter when you were
OpenOffice; I've been hoping for something similar since you changed the
name; is this mailing list what I've been seeking?]

Please help me restore this once great program to its usable
condition ... I want that 'slide pane' yet not where I have to continually
move it because the main window has slipped to the left where it's remains
partially hidden from view.

Could someone please respond to this query with at least where I can
go for help re. this,
with all sincerity, I'm eagerly awaiting your reply,

The way I get the slide pane to go to the left side of the Impress
window: while holding down the control key (Ctrl) while double clicking
the slide pane banner. (Double click just to the right of the word Slides.

You do the same thing to anchor any floating toolbar in AOO.
