RE: Does DLR have postgreSQL support?
hi john, Please check the archives on devel list. Small dump of my memory says someone has done work to integrate PostgreSQL for DLRs. [OT] any good reasons to leave MYSQL? -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of John Vincent Mombay Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2004 7:10 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Does DLR have postgreSQL support? Hi, I'm migrating from MySQL to PostgreSQL. I just wanted to know if DLR supports postgreSQL. I've checked dlr.c and seems to me it only has mySQL in it. just needs clarification. RE: DLR Mask explanation
1: Delivered to phone - sms has reached the destined phone and the reader MAY have read also. 2: Non-Delivered to Phone - SMSC was not able to deliver to phone for several reasons. validity expired; phone off; service was discontinued for that SIM. 4: Queued on SMSC - traffic was heavy on SMSC OR you set the deferred option. So, instead of immediate delivery, the sms is queued on phone. 8: Delivered to SMSC - not much clear on this. >16: Non-Delivered to SMSC - SMS didn't reach SMSC. may be n/w drop or some other problem. >Thanks to the shining soul that will answer me :-) I just tried :-)
Re: [Kannel-Users] Does DLR have postgreSQL support?
It does not, though you could write it and contribute it to the code! It probably wouldn't take that much work to do. Solaris usually uses /dev/cua/a and /dev/cua/b There are known issues with Solaris zs drivers, I forget which but do a google search and you'll find a site with serial resources. You might need to change the eeprom setting for the serial ports too. Steve -- NetTek Ltd Phone/Fax +44-(0)20 7483 2455 SMS steve-epage (at) gbnet.net [body] gpg 1024D/468952DB 2001-09-19

Siemens TC35 with Solaris setup
Hi, we have a Siemens TC35 GSM-Modem connected to a Sun Solaris 5.6 machine, and have problems setting up the serial connection to the modem. Neither Kannel nor minicom can talk with the modem. I know this is more a Solaris than a Kannel problem, but perhaps someone has the same configuration and can tell me how to setup the serial port. I'm no solaris specialist but am using the TC35 on Linux/Intel for a long while. I have no direct access to this sun machine, but the admin at the company where it is located told me that he connected the modem to the second serial port, and created a device /dev/cua0 with major/minor number 12/129, but minicom says "cannot open /dev/cua0: Invalid argument". Power supply is connected and the LED on the modem is flashing. TIA, Georg
