SMPP Sender Range Usage
Hi, I'm trying to achieve a requirement from a vendor from the USA. They provide us with DIDs so we need to push the traffic using those DIDs, but I need to "rotate" them daily, so they provide us a pull of DIDs. I was reading the documentation and I didn't find anything related to this scenario, like random sender among this pull of DIDs. Have you implemented something like this? If so, please let me know how you did it. Thanks -Jose

Re: NEED HELP!! in sqlbox..
Hello Gilberto I don't really understand your question at all. You want to send from smppbox to the sqlbox and then to bearer box? If that's your question the answer is yes. You just have to set the port of the bearerbox on the smppbox conf file and that would be the port set in the sqlbox. Pastebin your config files and I can help you up with the step by step, if that's not your question please explain more about it or your complete scenario case. Routing 1 smppbox to multiple SMSC
Hello I'm looking for a simple way to route from a opensmppbox account to a multiple SMSC gateways. The question is: how do I do depending on what prefix uses? For example I have a couple of gateways one for sending to US and one for UK. How do I route this? using the same opensmppbox account ? I tried to use for one SMSC smsc-id = route-live #... #route for USA #... allowed-prefix = 001;+1 preferred-prefix = 001;+1 smsc-id = route-live #... #route for UK #... allowed-prefix = 44;+44 preferred-prefix = 44;+44 And in the opensmpp I added something like: our-system-id = SMPP use-systemid-as-smsboxid = true route-to-smsc = route-live I tried with our-system-id = route-live and as SMPP, also If I comment that line. Re: Reprocessing MOs
Hello Ombongi I had the same problem once and I had to write a awk scripting file in order to accomplish it. On the previous email you said to process them at least to send to the subscribers so It would be easy if you need this and even if you need to insert them into the MySQL table. If you need some help with the awk scripting file I can help you on doing this. Saludos mi querido Ombongi. When I tried to insert manually, I got the error duplicate entry to autoincrement field Therefore, almost 1 messages were never inserted into the mysql table holding messages because of this. Hence, basically nothing was done to these requests. When I check the kannel MO log file, I can see alot of those messages that were never processed as a result. I wonder, Is i possible to reprocess my log entries during this period and at least send out responses to the subscribers? I cannot reprocess them from the database since they were never inserted into the table for holding incoming messages. I therefore need another position of re-running my processing. I'll appreciate your advise. Saludos Ombongi Moraa fe
