Re: HOW TO: no auto reply message?

In your sms-service group, experiment with one or both
of the following:

omit-empty = true
AND/OR
max-messages = 0

Theoretically either one of these should prevent
Kannel from sending an empty SMS back to your mobile
phone.

I'm using Kannel cvs-20031209 and I've found that I
also had to define a white-list otherwise Kannel kept
sending a blank SMS back to the mobile phone.

Using both white-list and max-messages = 0 solved
my problem.

Good luck.

Subject: HOW TO: no auto reply message?

I'm having a problem with the autoreply function at the moment.
I know you can set the auto reply message to anything you like in the kannel
configuration file with something like:
text = auto reply message

however I've removed this totally but I still get a reply back to my phone
when trying out the service with something like:
empty reply from service provider

How do I make sure I don't get any auto reply at all? It's just costing me
more than necessary...

Cheers,
Jarl
