ralink rt3070 802.x driver, ifconfig, arp
I am seeing some odd behavior on my new wireless interface. The ra0 wireless network interface seems to be forwarding ARPs from the wireless devices (which I can see and capture on RA0), but the kernel apparently does not seem to be recognizing them as arptables does not increment the packet count. Also, two device interfaces, eth0 and ra0 calculate two different broadcast addresses even when given the exact same netmask and ip address? (as reported by ifconfig). Are these computed by the kernel or the driver? Anyone seen something similar in the past? Thank You Fred Farleigh Fedora 12 x86_64, up to date. Jozsi Vadkan wrote: > I want to install a Debian on them. RAID1. [...] > How can I install grub to these two pendrives, so that if one of the > pendrives die, it would still be a bootable system? You have to install grub on each one of them separately. Insert the pen drives in one order and install grub, then remove them and install them in different order and install again. Each one of them should think to be the first hard disk as regards to booting. It looks like you have both your pen drives thinking they are the second disk (maybe because you have a real hard disk which is using the first position). GRUB Hard Disk Error
I've got two pendrives. I want to install a Debian on them. RAID1. Ok... ... After I installed it in RAID1, it works perfectly, ok! :) When I pull out one of the pendrive [good pendrive], it still boots up, hurrah :) But: ... When I pull out the other pendrive [i plug in the first one i tried] it say's: GRUB hard disk error What can I do? I already tried: grub-install /dev/sdc <-that's the pendrive name [bios -> hard drive emulation=hard drive, not auto] or: # grub find /boot/grub/stage1 hd0,0 hd1,0 root (hd0,0) setup (hd0,0) etc. What's the solution? Please help me:\ I can't just dd the first 512 Byte of the "good pendrive", because the uuid is stored there. [needed for the sraid..] It gets to the grub, so it's not a ""boot-order problem"" How can I install grub to these two pendrives, so that if one of the pendrives die, it would still be a bootable system? -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
