Please Recommend Affordable and Reliable Cloud Storage for 50 TB of Data

2019-02-14 Thread Turritopsis Dohrnii Teo En Ming
Hi,

Could you recommend affordable and reliable cloud storage for 50 TB of data?

Here are some important factors to consider:

1. Personal/non-commercial use.
2. Must be affordable, since I am unemployed most of the time and have
super low levels of income for the past 12 years since I graduated
from the National University of Singapore in 2007.
3. Cloud storage provider must not be a fly-by-night company, that is,
it will not suddenly close down the next day.

Please advise.

Thank you.

another point is that in order to post on the Centos list (or most
lists) you need to be a subscriber. I am subscribed to the Centos list
and see no posts from you. Are you actually a subscriber there? If not
perhaps see here: https://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos

Did you right click on the ibus tray icon.  Pick "Preferences" and then "Use
custom font"
to select the font and the size?  Note: it is sometimes necessary to then
restart ibus for
the changes to take effect.

I'm not exactly sure what that email address is you are referring to is,
but CentOS has its own mailing lists, just like Fedora. I'm not sure if you
can say its "part of" RedHat, but it definitely is based on and built from
RedHat Enterprise Linux.

You can see their mailing lists here:
https://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo

Hope that helps in some way :D

Gnome settings -> Online accounts and tor hidden services

2019-02-14 Thread Robin Lee
Hi

I wonder if there's away to configure a Nextcloud account in Online
Accounts or otherwise that would connect to a Nextcloud server that
resides on a tor hidden service, i.e. it would need to connect to an
onion address.

Cheers

how now to set ibus (Intelligent Pinyin) font.

2019-02-14 Thread home user via users

Good morning,

I'm trying to enter Chinese characters using ibus (Intelligent Pinyin).
As I enter the pinyin spelling, the Chinese characters show up in small
menu. The characters are displayed in a small font that my old eyes
have trouble reading. I want them to display in a size 16 kai font (AR
PL Ukai CN). I ran ibus-setup, and it is set correctly. I also have
the file ~/.i18n which has this line:

export FC_LANG=en-US:zh-CN
What else do I need to do?

thanks,
Bill.

F29 MATE Live Image

2019-02-14 Thread Frank Elsner
Hello,

when I download
https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/29/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-MATE_Compiz-Live-x86_64-29-1.2.iso

and write it to an USB-stick by
livecd-iso-to-disk --format --reset-mbr
/home/frank/Download/Fedora-MATE_Compiz-Live-x86_64-29-1.2.iso /dev/sdc

I have a Fedora 28 system after booting this stick.

BTW, size and checksum are different from
Fedora-MATE_Compiz-Live-x86_64-28-1.1.iso
What goes wrong?

Kind regards,
Frank Elsner
