hello, I followed the official documentation to try to boot in "rescue" mode and then when booting from the live CD i pressed "tab" key, deleted all the command line and then put "linux rescue". However, fedora always boot "normally"!! I have a problem with booting on fedora 17 x 64
when bootingm grub prints this message
error: attempt to read or write outside of disk 'hd0'
however, when I boot with live CD I can access to all my partitions linux
and windows.
when trying to reinstall grub, i get this message,

problem with NTFS file system

problem with setting page limit
Dear list I am trying to set a page limitation on F17 to a printer installed on a server with manu system users. At the begginig, things looks easy. probleme with awk arguments
Hello,
I have a problem with passing arguments for awk.
I set a variable C as charecter (or string). Then put that variable as
argument for awk.
Unfortuanatly, I go not get the needed result.
For example, in this example, I get the content of the file but I expect it
write "g" as many lines as file file coran.pls contains
any input will help

problem with skype at starting on F15
Dear list I have a strange problem with skype. When I login, a huge time of hard disk activity starts on F15 and delay at least 10 minutes during which I can't almost use my laptop. I use F15 on dell laptop. do you have any experience with this? problem with fedora when booting
Dear list My fedora system does not boot after selecting fedora from grub. I get a black screen with a cursor and after that, nothing happens (no error messages appears...) Even when I boot with single mode, the same bevaviour happens. I have fedora 14 on a dell laptop. Can you help? Hi list I have installed easycap driver for fedora 12 http://sourceforge.net/projects/easycapdc60/reviews/ when I open the device with vlc, the video works great but not there is no sound!
