Hello, I was about to fresh install F18 and the integrated network card
that F17 recognised is not on F18, it is a working asrock 945gcm-s.
Does this mean that I should reinstall F17 and fedup or is there a simpler
(faster) method?

I made a similar observation, where the file being copied was not over
but the progress bar disappeared, you could still notice activity on
the USB drive and if unmounted a dialog would show up, with no
progress bar, that there where still jobs pending on the drive, this
does not feel intuitive at all.. why is this?

safe graphics mode installation help

2012-06-15 Thread Dokuro
ok, here's my crazy story, I had some graphic issues with my TV and my
Fedora 17 box that had the alpha and was up to date, so I decided to
re-install, however my daughter was playing with another of my
wireless keyboards and on the boot screen she made the menu into safe
graphics mode. I saw that the live fedora was looking normal so I
installed it from there, but the screen does not fill the TV, just a
1024 resolution, and for some reason my /mnt/drive, that I use as a
personal folder seems to make nautilus kinda slow.
Does anybody knows if the safe graphics mode install might have
something to do with this...?

thank you, and keep up the great work, and Gnome 3 :)
