I suspected as much (but only after I's already replied :-). Anyway, I
believe TB has a way of setting this either in the Preferences or via
one of its about:config variables. I haven't used it for a while so I
can't be more specific.

What has Firefox got to do with the subject being discussed in this
thread?  Do you use Firefox to write reply emails that Evolution
