F13-F16 via preupgrade: feasible?
Is it feasible to go from F13-F16 via preupgrade? The Installation Guide mentions For example, you can upgrade from Fedora 14 to Fedora 16 directly. Great. In this regard is there any real difference between F13 and F14? There is a big difference between F13 and F15 how services are handled. upstart\sysv systemd Maybe go to F15 first, see how you get on. Or. back up your files. Install F16 fresh allowing that the uids have changed for users. iirc. -- Regards, Frank Murphy UTF_8 Encoded Friend of fedoraproject.org -- users mailing list users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
