Before unpluging and plugging the device back in.  See if the system
knows the device is there. Review dmesg, ls -l /dev/sd? etc.

If after several "test" reboots the system is aware of the device.
I'd add an entry for it in /etc/fstab.

USB drive not mounted after reboot

After rebooting my FC12 system, my Seagate 1.5TB drive was not mounted.  
I had to unplug and plug in the USB cable to get the system to recognize 
the drive.

What can I do to insure this drive is mounted after a reboot or powerup?
