[one-users] onecluster creation problem

2011-07-04 Thread chethan kp
Hi,
Since I was problem with manual install , I went system wide install
(apt-get install opennebula ),.
Its installed properly and I cloud see the proper file structure .

I cloud create the host using

 #"onehost create host01 im_kvm vmm_kvm tm_nfs "
 # onehost list

HID NAME RVM TCPU FCPU ACPUTMEMFMEM STAT
   5 host2 0 0100 on

-- here nothing is allocated for the RVM TCPU FCPU ...

after this I tried to do the SSH

#sudo -u oneadmin ssh host2

ssh: Could not resolve hostname host2: Name or service not known ( Why
this problem is coming )

and also I could not run the command *onecluster* it gives the following error

/usr/bin/onecluster:133:in `initialize': wrong number of arguments (1
for 0) (ArgumentError)
from /usr/bin/onecluster:133:in `new'
from /usr/bin/onecluster:133

pls help to fix this problem,.. i'm really struggling to solve this ..

Re: [one-users] Yet another problem with connecting to ttylinux via ssh

2011-07-04 Thread Jaime Melis
Hi Adnan,

Reviewing the ouput you sent us a while back I've just realized that 'eth0'
is not attached to 'virbr0'.

Try doing
brctl addif virbr0 eth0

and deploying the VM again.

Jaime

Re: [one-users] oned failed to start | Please help

2011-07-04 Thread Jaime Melis
Hi,

it seems something went wrong during the installation. You might want to try
out
apt-get purge opennebula
make sure all files are gone:
/etc/one
/var/lib/one
/var/run/one
/usr/lib/one
/var/log/one
and install from afresh.

Once you've finished installing, su' into the oneadmin user:
su - oneadmin
Now define ONE_AUTH and start manually OpenNebula by doing "one start".

After that the daemon will work.

Regards,
Jaime

[one-users] VM failure

Hi ,
I'm trying to follow the ttylinux vm tutorial.

Here is the ttylinux.one:

And here is the Small_network.net file

[one-users] Fixing up USED / FREECPU ?

2011-07-04 Thread Steffen Neumann
Hi,

due to some problems (NFS connectivity) earlier on,
ONE's idea of free CPU on some nodes differs from reality
and new VMs are stuck PENDING.

E.g. I find from onehost show node-blc02
TOTALCPU=1600
USEDCPU=1280.0

whereas I know from onevm list that there is only a single KVM running:

onevm list | grep node-blc02
  506 oneadmin suse113 runn 121 8G node-blc02 13 01:18:38

So USEDCPU should really be about 200 or so.

Question: How do I "fix" ONE's idea about the USED/FREE CPU
for individual hosts ? As there are still VMs, rebooting
is not really an option.

Yours,
Steffen

Re: [one-users] VM failure

2011-07-04 Thread alph inf
I've solved the issue and ttylinux is 'runn' now.
The problem was with oneadmin privileges on the node.
" [TM][I]: mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/lib/one': Permission denied"
Giving oneadmin enough privileges fixed the issue.

2011-07-04 Thread Gian Uberto Lauri
According to
http://opennebula.org/_media/documentation:rel2.0:one-directories-rootmode.png

in /var/lib/one ???

[one-users] Error when deploying the ttylinux tutorial VM

2011-07-04 Thread Arturo Equihua
Hi all

I am installing an Opennebula 2.2 demo and I got the oned and sunstone
services running. When trying to do the tutorial to deploy my first
VM, I get the following error message after the ttylinux machine tries
to boot (partial view, I picked up what I think are the most relevant
messages):

"error: Internal error unknown disk bus type 'virtio (KVM)'
"Error deploying virtual machine: error: Failed to create domain from
/var/lib/one//4/images/deployment.0"

I made sure the oneadmin account had ownership of the /srv/cloud
directory in the node machine. I also tried the disk bus type IDE
without success.

Any ideas that could help?

Best regards
