I have problem with sunstone in hosts tab, if i access hosts tab, the
sunstone is always loading.

if i try use command line, i get duplicate information like this :

MONITORING INFORMATION
ARCH=x86_64
ARCH=x86_64
CPUSPEED=2400
CPUSPEED=2400
HOSTNAME=node003

Why is it that you want to move datastore 0 to the frontend + nodes?

Assuming your configuration is as follows: NFS Server
exports datastores 0 and 1 - Mounted in Frontend + Nodes

I recommend the following option:
- Create a new Image datastore (it will have ID = 100, in
this example we will assume it has ID: 100)
- Create a new exports directive in your new storage box,
for example /storage/datastores/100
- Mount that mountpoint in all the nodes including the
frontend in the following path: /var/lib/one/datastores/100

Now you can register more images in the new datastore (ID:
100), and since they are all persistent they will not take
space in the system datastore (ID: 0)

Jaime

Guys,

We have plan to add a new storage box, Our existing storage :
/var/lib/one/datastore/0 = system
/var/lib/one/datastore/1 = image
/var/lib/one/datastore/2 = file
All type are from one storage box.

We did internal discuss and we get result with two options:

1. We add a new storage box as an image type and define it as
/var/lib/one/datastore/3 = image2.

Or

2. We will distribute /var/lib/one/datastore/0 = system and
/var/lib/one/datastore/2 = file to all nodes (all node are synced),
then
we add the new storage box as /var/lib/one/datastore/3 = image2
So with this second option, the nodes only mount two path from the
storage box (/var/lib/one/datastore/1 = image [from existing storage
box] and /var/lib/one/datastore/3 = image2 [from new storage
box]). All
the images are persistent
Please give us some advise with pros and cons within this two
options,
thanks.

  Hi Maria,

Now virtual machine boots from cdrom .iso but the network group not creates in
vmware. I don?t know why. Another times
this was successfully.

OpenNebula will create a port group in the vSwitch if the host and
networks are correctly configured to use the dynamic network mode:

http://docs.opennebula.org/4.6/administration/networking/vmwarenet.html

Have you configured it that way?

I?d like import .iso from datastore upload before from VMware.

If you chose to import images giving a path, this path needs to be
available from the OpenNebula front-end, which doesn't have access to
the /vmfs/volumes paths of the ESX.

Best,

-Tino

before related to networking problems (usually filtering
multicast traffic), can you double check that iptables is
allowing all the required cluster traffic?.

Also what is the output of clustat, during the failure?

2014-02-26 Thread Rhesa Mahendra
Ruben,

I get error in Fencing, fencing agent not working fine, so if one node cannot
connect fencing this cluster will be stuck, i read from forum, this fence can
connect to ipmi, i think opennebula just need clvm, so i decide to use cluster
without fence, i hope everythink is fine, thanks.

Regards,
Rhesa Mahendra.

 I agree that the problem is related to lvm, probably clvmd cannot acquire

 problems (usually filtering multicast traffic), can you double check that

[one-users] Database Version Mismatch

Guys,

I have problem about update from one 4.2 to 4.4 see this:

[oneadmin@node1 ~]$ onedb upgrade -v -S localhost -u oneadmin -p
oneadmin -d oneadmin

Version read:
4.4.0 : Database migrated from 4.2.0 to 4.4.0 (OpenNebula 4.4.0) by
onedb command.

Database already uses version 4.4.0

[oneadmin@node1 ~]$ one start
