Hi Anagha,

have you read this?
http://opennebula.org/documentation:rel4.0:plan#networking

That's the general schema for networking in OpenNebula.

cheers,
Jaime

 Hi

I am confused about the bridge concept in cloud.

I installed bridge utils and brctl command shows one bridge

bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
 virbr1 8000 yes virbr1-nic

i removed virbr1-nic interface from virbr1 and added virbr1 into
interfaces file with its ip .[192.168.100.x] and i added eth0 to virbr1
 [bridge_ports eth0] eth0 havin different ip address .

but due to this my network connection lost.

previously i havenot added bridge with eth0 still vm are running and
 having net connection.

i am confused this virbr1 required for just vlan and leases?

Hi,

I installed openvswitch on host so removed existing bridge virbr0 .
but i removed openvswitch and removed the bridge created with openvswitch.

using bridge utils again created new bridge which is virbr1 now opennebula
frontend searching for virbr0 for creating domain for vm and vm is in
failed state .

What steps to be performed that frontend will consider this virbr1 bridge
instead of old virbr0.

help.

Thanks n Regards.

Hi,

Change the BRIDGE attribute from the network defined in OpenNebula from
virbr0 to virbr1.

As far as I know the above operation requires you to remove the network and
recreate it. Others
may know better.

Cheers and Goodwill,
