Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] OpenXCAP Test Examples

Server monitor,

As per i know i haven't found anything other than openxcap. i have also got
it working till where you have achieved on debian 4, CENTOS 5. Actually with
debian 5 everything is working working fine including the put,get and delete
methods with openxcap and sip-simple client. But still on my way to discover
how to use it properly.

Thanks Aswini, is there any scenario in which openxcap will run?

Is there another project out there that will let you test presence docs and
 resource lists?

I have managed to get everything to compile on Fedora core and very
hesitant to start experimenting with mysqldb.

 Does anyone have any insight?

 Thanks,
 Rob

there is a reconnect error. i am yet to find the solution for this. if you

[OpenSIPS-Users] Opensips Control Panel 2.0 Tutorial Release

2009-05-21 Thread Iulia Bublea
Hi,

For an easy installation and configuration of OpenSIPS Control Panel, I
prepared a series of video tutorials (desktop capturing showing the
entire process, along with the audio explanation of what is done there).
The series of tutorials gather up 13 videos, one for the general
installation and configuration of the Control Panel core and 12 others
specific for each tool.

These are available (as mp4(mp4v/mpga)/ogv(theo/vorbis) movies) for
download from the SF download system:

https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=237198package_id=323097

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] opensips transparent with overlap RFC3578

2009-05-21 Thread Uwe Kastens
Hi,

 Anyone already configured it?

This feature has nothing to do with OpenSIPS which is just a proxy (and more
things) and it only routes requests.

I was wondering if this might give some trouble with dialog.
Of course, you can implement it with OpenSIPS:
 - Suppose the complete number to dial is 123456.
 - GW sends 1 to OpenSIPS and it replies 484 Address Incomplete
 - GW sends 12 and OpenSIPS replies 484.
 - GW sends 123 and OpenSIPS replies 484.
 - GW sends 1234 and OpenSIPS replies 484.
 - GW sends 12345 and OpenSIPS replies 484.
 - GW sends 123456 and OpenSIPS routes the call.

I will try an report to the list .

Hi,

to get accounted transactions without a 200 OK, you need to set the
failed_transaction_flag

Do set this flag when you process the BYE in your script.

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] OpenXCAP Test Examples

2009-05-21 Thread duane . larson
In my experience I couldn't get OpenXCAP to work on Ubuntu Intrepid. It
would install and look like it was working, but I would have authentication
issues with client PUTs. Once I spun up an install of Debian 5 and install
OpenXCAP my authentication PUT issues went away and everything worked like
a champ. I am sure the PUT authentication had something to do with a
package dependency in Ubuntu, but I am not.

[OpenSIPS-Users] NAT ping with options in OpenSER 1.3.2

2009-05-21 Thread Sergio Gutierrez
Hello to all members.

I have configured nathelper module to send NAT ping to natted users, by
means of OPTIONS method, but I see that the ping is performed by the dummy
UDP packet:

These are the parameters I defined in config file:

loadmodule nathelper.so
modparam(nathelper, natping_interval, 60)
modparam(nathelper, ping_nated_only, 1)
modparam(nathelper, rtpproxy_sock, unix:/var/run/rtpproxy.sock)
#modparam(nathelper, rtpproxy_disable, 1)
modparam(nathelper, rtpproxy_disable_tout, 60)
modparam(nathelper, rtpproxy_tout, 1)
modparam(nathelper, rtpproxy_retr, 5)
modparam(nathelper, sipping_from,
sip:pin...@une.net.cosip%3apin...@une.net.co
)
modparam(nathelper, sipping_method, OPTIONS)
modparam(nathelper, received_avp, $avp(i:801))

Is there something I am missing or is that feature not supported in OpenSER
1.3.2?

Thanks in advance for your attention.

Best regards.

It is, but you need to configure the sipping_bflag (see

you will set this flag before save(location) in order to indicate you

[OpenSIPS-Users] [NEW] More enhancements in DISPATCHER module

2009-05-21 Thread Bogdan-Andrei Iancu
Hi,

I just added 2 new interesting enhancements to the dispatcher module (on
OpenSIPS 1.6 / trunk ) :

Weight for destination
===

The definition of the destinations includes a weight of that
destination. This weight is to be used for controlling the distribution
(as ratio) between the peers. Without weight, a relating equal shares of
traffic is sent to all the peers; using weights, you can sent different
shares (like 25% for one destinations, 60% to other and 15% to the third).

The weights are not necessary percentages - they simply define the
distribution between the destinations, in a similar way as weights works
for DNS : a entry with higher weight will have higher chances to be
selected.

The weights to not affect the existing dispatching algorithms - it works
for all except the Round Robin algorithm were weight is simply ignored.

Attributes for destination
==

The definition of the destinations includes a opaque string of
attributes of that destination. This string is not used by the
dispatcher module at all - it is simply made available in script
whenever the destination is selected (by the functions of the dispatcher
module).

This attribute string may encode whatever information about the
destination, information useful to have when you use the destination. To
get the attributes string, you simply have to put the string in the
destination definition (DB or file) and to define the module parameter
attrs_avp - this is the AVP that will be populated with the attribute
string.

Bogdan

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] openser 1.3.2-2

2009-05-21 Thread Robert Shady

Manal,

This is a configuration problem - either your MySQL server isn't
setup properly, or you are attempting to use incorrect credentials to
authenticate to it. Most likely the password that you are specifying
does not match the root password for your MySQL server.

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] help needed for auth-radius

2009-05-21 Thread Jinsong Hu

The freeradius I got come from http://cdrtool.ag-projects.com/wiki/Install
I installed it via
apt-get install freeradius-xs freeradius-xs-mysql
command as listed there in debian lenny. I checked the version of the
installed
freeradius, it is 1.1.7 . according to the instruction , it is a patched
version.

attached is the result of freeradius -X. the client I used is
libradiusclient-ng2 in
debian lenny. I suspect that client.conf or radiusd.conf some configuration
is wrong,

but I just don't know what is wrong.

Jimmy,

could you repeat the request after starting freeradius with -X. I am
using freeradius-2 with libradiusclient-ng.

Have you installed all dictionaries which are required? What kind of

Hi, There :
I am trying to use auth-radius module in opensips 1.5, and it
doesn't work. I turned on the debug mode for freeradius,
and got this log. indeed, I noticed that the message doesn't contain a
row for password
like this:
User-Password = 1234567890

does any body know what I am missing here ? I am running freeradius
1.1.7 version, with freeradius-ng client.
I suspect that the client config file needs change, but don't know how.

can anybody help ?

[OpenSIPS-Users] Flags and Mask on carrierroute module

2009-05-21 Thread Ricardo Martins
Hi al! I realy tried to find how flags and mask on carrierroute modulo
works but could not get a clue.

I know that the mask column will be applied to the flags setted on
scripting, before trying to match the flags on the rule. That's ok. But,
in this case, what applied means?

Let's consider the example at the module documentation, where we find a
route with flags=2048 and mask=2112 (both decimal values). How can we
interpret those values? For which possible values of message flags
(scripting flags) this match will be true?

I apreciate if someone could help me on that, and I'm sure that this
help will be an important add to the list files, helping lots of people
for now on.

Regards to all! Long life to opensips!

Ricardo Poppi.
Brasil.
