[OpenSIPS-Users] PUA module functions and XCAP functionality

2011-05-18 Thread Jayesh Nambiar
Hello all,
I have setup an opensips with call and presence capabilities with xcap. Now
there are some Endpoints that does not support presence capabilities for
which I use PUA module. So whenever those endpoints are registered the
watchers for those endpoints will see them as online. And when they
Un-register the watchers should see them as offline.
The question here is how to enable the xcap functionality for such
endpoints. How does an endpoint which does not have presence capabilites
allow or disallow someone to check their presence status which is generated
by the PUA module?
Is it something possible to do from the web-interface? For eg. someone wants
to check the presence status of endpoint A which does not have presence
capabilites. User A logs into the web-interface, allows the watcher to view
its presence status which actually creates an xcap doc for that user. And
only then the PUBLISH from PUA gets notified to those users based upon the
xcap rules of that user.
Any proper direction in this context will be really helpful.

Thanks,

--- Jayesh

[OpenSIPS-Users] opensips => SEMS(voicemail)

2011-05-18 Thread Steven Pokrandt
   SEMS docs make it sound easy to integrate with SER (opensips?) but
opensips complains about the 2nd append line. I'm new to all of this and as
you know it's a steep learning curve. where do i get the $t.*, @from.*,
@ruri.* variables set from? is there a module? do I need to look them up
and assign them from the DB in opensips?

append_hf("P-App-Name: voicemail\r\n");
append_hf("P-App-Param:
mod=%$t.voicemail%|;eml='%$t.email%|';usr=%@ruri.user%|;snd='%@from.uri%|';dom=%@ruri.host%|;uid=%$t.uid%|;did=%$t.did%|;");

I have been able to successfully set up OpenSIPS, OpenXCAP and Counterpath

using.

IIRC no, ICE is only used in UDP, but I'm not 100% sure, I'll check it out.

Thanks for confirming that the patch works.

Hi

I have used the patch and ICE is working now without any problem .
since we have blocking on our isp links, and SIP is blocked, we
ususally use vpn to do call .with this senario ICE worked.

Now , i have configured tls and i am registerd to the server by blink
over tls ( without using vpn in this test ) and i see blink do
negotioantion ICE , but , packets are going to server insteade of the peer
clinet.
   Should ICE works over TLS ?

[OpenSIPS-Users] "incorrect port 0 in reply from rtp proxy' error appears after DoS attack

2011-05-18 Thread Andrew Pogrebennyk

Hi,
I've recently experienced an opensips outage. As I see from the logs
there was a brief DoS attack by sipvicious, then the attacker was
blocked by fail2ban. But after that appeared a huge number of "
incorrect port 0 in reply from rtp proxy" errors and the calls weren't
going through. I was not able to monitor this myself, eventually the
opensips was restarted. I'm going to upgrade from 1.6.2 to 1.6.4 and
enable rtpproxy debug so as to get more info next time that it happens.
I'm just wondering now if it this some known bug. Thanks,

Is there any tentative info on when we might see a 1.6.5 release, or

OpenSIPS 2.0, but at this point from a business perspective I'm just
trying to sell a gold release to update and get these changes in.

Thanks much,
