[OpenSIPS-Users] OpenSIPS in separate networks

2011-07-28 Thread Carmelo D
Hi all

I'm trying to develop an environment where different SIP clients, located in
different networks, register to OpenSIPS. I'm using routers to separate the
networks and I'd configure the OpenSIPS in one of these networks.
Before starting the development I'd ask a couple of questions:
- are there any limitations in clustering two OpenSIPS servers (for
redundancy) in different networks?
- it can happen that two SIP clients in two separate networks have the same
SIP username (normally the telephone number). I think this could be a
problem. Should I define some rules to identify the users?

Thank you for your kind support,

Carmelo

[OpenSIPS-Users] Automatic acceptance of calls for some users

2011-08-30 Thread Carmelo D
Hi all

In my system I have about twenty SIP clients all registered to the same
OpenSIPS. Only two of these clients have high priority and should be served
as fast as possible.

The idea was to implement a logic so that for these two clients I have
automatic call acceptance. Other calls from other callers have to be handled
as usual (the callee accept the call if wanted). Any hints/links about
possible implementations?

Thank you in advance,
Carmelo

[OpenSIPS-Users] opensips and asterisk

2010-04-26 Thread Carmelo D
Hello,

I'd like to have Opensips and Asterisk on two different networks (and
different sip domains), and make each ua in Opensips domain reachable
from the ua in Asterisk domain and vice versa.

how should I configure Opensips (and Asterisk, if anybody knows)?

thanks for your support!

[OpenSIPS-Users] dialog module

2010-04-27 Thread Carmelo D
Hi all,

I'm working with the dialog module, and have a problem with it.
If I bind Opensips on the physical address it works fine, but if I
bind it on the 0.0.0.0 address (I use it for redundancy purpose), it
doesn't work fine.
In particular I get a message that the ACK and the BYE messages are
too big (bigger than 2048 byte), but actually with wireshark I can see
that they have a size of about 500 byte!

any idea on how can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.
