Re: [Pw_forum] missing tutorials
You can find a recent set of lecture slides with files for the hands on session in the link given below: http://www.iiserpune.ac.in/~smr2626/talks-presentations.html Hope this helps. I temporarily removed them to avoid troubles with a QE backend server which may result in stopping the pseudo-potential automatic retrieval system. The risk appeared during the v6 release process. Those files can be restored easily, just the time needed for a rsync. Nicola is offering to provide a backup website for them and this is a good thing for the future. I've also looked into converting the videos in a format friendly to be uploaded on YouTube. This is feasible, despite the poor resolution. It just require time. -- Filippo SPIGA * Sent from my iPhone, sorry for typos * ___ Pw_forum mailing list Pw_forum@pwscf.org http://pwscf.org/mailman/listinfo/pw_forum
Re: [Pw_forum] missing tutorials
Dear J. Pesic, thanks a lot for your interest. My understanding is that it was removed from the website because apparently it generated too much traffic. I have a copy, so we will put it up on the materials cloud site in a couple of days, and then post the new link and put a link on the QE website (for all - we shouldn't remove links from the QE web site, but put a note). nicola On 11/10/2016 14:47, yelena wrote: > Hello! > > I've been wondering what happened to tutorials from NSF/Democritos > Summer School on Materials Modeling from First-Principles: Theory and > Practice, Santa Barbara, July 2009. > http://media.quantum-espresso.org/santa_barbara_2009_07/ > I have young co-worker who would highly benefit from watching videos and > tutorials that were available on this link.
