Hi Did you rename the dist file? By default, the db.inc.php file doesn't exist but the db.inc.php.dist exists. Hello, It did help me to turn the installer on and check things. One of the messages said it could not read the file. I chmoded it 664 and voila :) So it was a simple permission issue.
