All eclipse:eclipse does is generate eclipse metadata annotation files, such
as .classpath and .project. It does not reconfigure directories, or delete
anything, including SVN or CVS dirs.

Is it possible that if I do mvn eclipse:eclipse that my project would 
get disconnected from the subversion repository?

What would be the approach to avoid this kind of behavior? Thanks
