Re: How to be compatible with both M1 and M2 repos

2006-07-17 Thread Carlos Sanchez

All requests to the m1 central repo www.ibiblio.org/maven are
redirected to the m2 repo transparently www.ibiblio.org/maven2, and
all uploads processed in the m2 repo, with poms from m1 converted to
m2 format, so I don't know what the problem can be.

Hello,

An slf4j user recently observed that he could not get maven2 to include
slf4j as a dependency. He traced the cause to the incompatibility between
maven1 and maven2 pom files. I suspect the problem is due to the fact that
we export pom.xml files using the maven1 format.

Is there a way to upload dependencies on ibiblio so that they are
compatible with both maven1 and maven2?

Thank you for your input,
