As part of a conversion from ant to maven I'm exploring the use of a
multi-module project. Since this is a legacy project we'd rather not move
things around. So the child modules will not necessarily be in directories
directly beneath the parent pom. Is there any way to override this location
in the parent pom's module section?
According to the blue box on this [0] page it is possible, but it doesn't
give any details, neither does the pom reference on the maven site or the
sonatype book.
This is one clear advantage of ant the documentation for the standard
tasks are easy to find, in one place and complete. If maven's documentation
was as easy to reference transition would be a lot easier.

Thanks.
