Maven definitive guide parent POM child POM example: creates modules jar and war but not jar in war?
Hello maven gurus, users and mere mortals. I have a parent POM similar to the maven definitive guide multi-module example. The parent POM locates the the child POMs as expected. Both modules are built correctly: 1 (dot).war file and 1 (dot).jar file but the (dot).jar is not included in the (dot).war file. How-to complete this step of the POM? Please advise, David Yet some, not wise, go to the other side of the globe, to barbarous and unhealthy regions, and devote ten or twenty years, in that they may live,-that is, keep comfortably warm,- and die in New England at last. Hello Arnaud, thanks for the reply. I did have the dependency included as you suggested. For the sake of posterity I will have to say that the mistake I made was the so-called Maven coordinate element: scopeprovided/scope instead of: scopecompile/scope. ;-) David.
