The answer is lots of companies. I don't think you'll ever see a complete list, or even a reasonably accurate partial one. Can any one tell me which are the companies using Maven 2.0.7 or Maven 2.x ? I work for FJA-US (http://www.fja-us.com/us/). It is the primary build tool at my company (the US branch at least, but it is used in other branches as well).
