Command output: Cannot access /web/cvs /CVSROOT No such file or directory at org.apache.maven.plugins.release.PrepareReleaseMojo.execute(PrepareReleaseMojo.java:135) at org.apache.maven.plugin.DefaultPluginManager.executeMojo(DefaultPluginManager.java:483) at org.apache.maven.lifecycle.DefaultLifecycleExecutor.executeGoals(DefaultLifecycleExecutor.java:678) ... 16 more I use this format in my SCM connection scm:cvs:ext:usern...@server:/web/cvs/:module Our CVS server is setup with extssh. Before I had problems with authentication but solved this by adding my public key to the authorized_keys on the server.
