Short answer, when it's ready!

Longer answer, to add to what Michael said, the earliest the release
vote will be now is in the week of May 22nd.  So, general availability
of the release will probably be in the week of May 29th.  Assuming no
issues are found to cause delay.

Aside from no longer triggering a false positive in the somewhat
questionable scanning tool, it's not like it's fixing anything
critical in this regard - you can keep using NetBeans 17 until the
release is available, or help with testing NetBeans 18 release
candidates.
