Extras = Einstellungen = OpenOffice Writer = Ansicht = [X] Grafiken

FYI: Diese Option ist gedacht für Fälle, in denen Ladezeit- oder
Speicherplatzprobleme auftreten. Also wenn z.
eigentlich aktiviert.

Hi Marcy,

The standard version of openoffice cannot read wps files, however
Libreoffice which is a variant of openoffice can. What you need to do
for best results is to convert the wps file into a file type that
openoffice can read There is an article at the following web page which
details step-by-step, three ways to convert wps files into a format
suitable for open office. Hope this helps you out.

Question for you.....

2014-09-03 Thread Manuela Werthwein

Hello,

I have been using Apache OpenOffice for quite some time and just
loveso thank you for this.

Now I seem to have a problem with it this time.I downloaded the new
version of Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1. yesterday and I never had this
problem before. So the issue is that when I open up documents new or
old, all of the words are underlined in red which shouldn't be. Can you
please give me some guidance on how to rectify this situation.

Many thanks,

I would recomend to use links so that the link field will go into the
picture object.
I will recomend to read the thread about it from our forums:
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=83t=44124

There are many good base builders and also some free to use models for
verticals.

Re: need your help

2014-09-03 Thread Ray Claus
I had that problem and I solved it by right clicking on the file name
(inside the folder) and choosing the open with option. You will then
be given a menu showing all the possible programs available on your
computer that might possibly open that file. Choose the Open Office
program that matches your file; ex: calc for spreadsheets; writer for
letters and other text docs; etc.

Good luck,
racy

No concrete answers, but, off hand, it sounds like AOO thinks that every
word is spelled incorrectly. Make certain that you have the proper
dictionaries installed and that the language is set correctly on text.

Sorry, no time to explain that, I am late for something else.

The cure for a very great number of such problems is to delete orrename the
OpenOffice User Profile. The detail of this, which differs slightly according
to the operating system you are using, is discussed in this posting on the user
