Re: Hi
Yes! It's a bug with open office, and I didn't find any solution from pervious listing. So...I'm from Israel and I have downloaded a Hebrew dictionary pack, it worked fined for a long time, and than with out any changes on my computer or in the software it's stopped working. I tried to delete the extension but an eror massage appeared. I tried to re install the open office but the problem didn't solved. This is the message that appeared Thanks, Shahar 2015, Keith N. Re: Verschwundenes Open Office
Regards Keith I am going to take a leap of faith that what you are saying is that the spell check has suddenly stopped working. If that is the case the problem is in the user profile and no amount of un-installing and re-installing AOO will help. Most spell check issues result from some form of corruption in the user profile and can be fixed by resetting the Profile. For details on doing this see the following tutorial in the User Forum: Reset your user profile: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74t=12426#p58403 If this is not the issue you are having or if resetting the profile does not help please come back with more details. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
Standardformation
Need Help with Java with AOO4 Calc
Using AOO4 on Win 8.2. When trying to merge cells in Spreadsheet/Calc, I am told that Java runtime is needed. How may I verify that the Java install is correct/ can be repaired? Regards, Vince Sent from my iPad

Regards, Vince Sent from my iPad As OpenOffice on Windows is a 32 bit application, you must install a 32 bit Java (flagged as 586 on Java.com) and select it in OpenOffice /Tools /Options /OpenOffice(.org) /Java. The best selection is Java 1.7 - 1.8 will work, but needs file tweaking of which I have no detailed knowledge. -- Rory O'Farrell ofarr...@iol.ie - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
Re: Need Help with Java with AOO4 Calc
I do seem to recall visiting the Java website and doing an update; but did not reselect within AOO, which at present shows only one JRE listed. However, when first getting this Win8 machine, DELL Tech Support did walk me through installations of both a 32- bit and a 64- bit JRE. I will revisit that website to verify that I have both still installed properly in this machine. Thanks again for all of your time, effort, and help.
