Open Office Pdf Conversion Problem
I am sorry to be a bother. Since the beginning of this year I am not able to convert an odt. or doc. file to pdf when I click on the pdf icon in the tools gallery. When I click on the icon it produces the intended question of saving the file as a pdf by title but when I click on that I get a message saying the file already exists and asks do I want to replace it. When I click 'yes' I get a message saying that there was a write error and the file could not be written. This occurred with Open Office 4.1.1 from early January 2016 and even after I converted to 4.1.2 late last week. Can you advise help? Best Wishes,Wayne ollingw.oll...@bigpond.com

typing fault
Please can you help me? I recently downloaded openoffice. at first everything was fine but when I came to use it for a second time I was not able to type commas and full stops. When i type a full stop I get a tiny dash which appears on the line. A comma appears as two tiny dashes, one on the line and another below the line. Like a minute equals sign. if I cannot punctuate my typing then I cannot use it at all. is there any way to correct this? If not can I uninstall and re-install again? Hope you can help because I am really stuck. thank you.
Re: Open Office Pdf Conversion Problem
Have you tried to print, and then chose to produce a PDF instead of sending an image to your printer? (The PDF button is at the bottom left of the print control dialog). Nachtrag, es klappt mit meinem HP doch unter Suse. Allerdings mittels manueller Einrichtung durch HP-Geräteverwaltung. Gruß Jan - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-de-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-de-h...@openoffice.apache.org
Re: Unable to open doc
From: Michael Jenkins Hi; I recently downloaded open office and all my wps files on a memory stick seem to have been converted to open office, but when I try to open them, all that happens is the download starts again and at the end of it, I still cant open a file,Please help! Many thanks, "Michael Jenkins" : OpenOffice does not support MS Works files. Either install the MS Works itself, or use MS Word Viewer with the Works converter installed.
