Excel to open office problem

2016-03-18 Thread Adrian Ban
Hello I have a problem where I have a file in excel on the PC and I'm
opening in open office on mac. On the PC excel there are drop down menus
for certain blocks, but when I open it in OpenOffice spreadsheet on mac,
there are no drop down menus. What do I do to get that to work?

Thank you,

Adrian Ban

You probably have a reply by now but just in case;

Menu Edit; Select Changes and click on the record and show options.

Easy if you know how.

Best wishes,

Google is your friend. Here are four examples. My recommendation, try link #4
first.

There are about 6 different sizes preprogrammed into Writer for
printing envelopes, but I don't really know what size those numbers
represent, so the way I have been printing envelopes is this:

1. Measure the envelope I want to print
2. Open a new text document in Writer
3. Under Format > Page I set up a User format to the size of the
envelope I want to print
4. Set the margins so that there isn't too much space between the
return address and the edge
5. Type in return address and destination address as I want them to
appear on the envelope

6.  Print
