Using the @ApacheOO Twitter Account

2016-04-03 Thread Dennis E. Hamilton
The @ApacheOO Twitter account is operated by an individual (the only option for
free accounts). A Member of the Project Management Committee operates the
account.

However, everyone can use it and use its Twitter ID.

First, subscribing to @ApacheOO on Twitter will provide notices about Apache
OpenOffice and the ASF. Notices about extensions and templates are available
separately, via accounts @aooextensions and @aootemplates.

Secondly, if you are on twitter and have something you want to report about or
related to Apache OpenOffice, please use "@ApacheOO" in your post.

Finally, all mentions of @ApacheOO are seen by the account operator. Ones of
general interest will be retweeted. Ones that describe problems are often
retweeted with suggestions that discussion be taken to the users@ list. This
has been working and folks do come there and even add Bugzilla issues.

RE: Freeware for sale on eBay and Amazon?

2016-04-03 Thread Dennis E. Hamilton
When you correct the search to work, it brings up Open Office offers included
in the Microsoft Office ones. See below,

Problema con Foglio di calcolo

2016-04-03 Thread Dario Treppiedi
Salve,
prima dell’attuale aggiornamento Apple).
Cordiali saluti, Dario.

Gerard states this link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=Microsoft+Office+Professional+2016
That refers to Microsoft Software and has nothing to do with OpenOffice...The
link is not valid anyway, so...
Sincerely,

The license on Apache OpenOffice software does not prohibit redistribution and
trading in the software.  It is not "freeware" in the common sense of that
term.  It is open-source software and it is made freely available to the public

However, Apache, OpenOffice, and Apache OpenOffice are registered trademarks or

Whether those marks are misused depends on individual cases.  Investigation is

To make the search work from everywhere, go to

And type the search entry "Microsoft Office Professional 2016" (without the
quotes).

There are a variety of so-called "Open Office" offerings mingled among those.
