I mentioned it here a few years ago but the response were that ”it works for me”. Later I switched hardware completely (processor, memory, graphics card, mother board, everything except the DVD burner and ”tower”…), but exactly the same problem persists, so I guess it's not my hardware's fault, at least. So since I couldn't work with some of my files efficiently, I switched over (again) to LibreOffice, which I don't like at all (on the other hand, I don't like any of the office suites I've ever tried at all, everyone of them have serious issues), but it solved that particular problem, at least. However, this is not necessarily a good idea.
