Incorrect.

This is a symptom of incorrect installation of dictionaries and languages on
your computer. Note that correction, be it of spelling or grammar, is passive -
an error is flagged and it is your choice whether to apply the spelling
correction or to edit the text to eliminate the grammatical error.

If that makes you happy, do it.

Help needed NO FORUM PLEASE

2017-02-01 Thread Giulli Castro
So I apparently cannot have my open office in english and make a text to
be corrected in the other four languages I speak and work with, right?
Because although I have a language pack and dictionaries, IT DOES NOT
WORK. When I click to have the correction, it does not correct in any
other languages installed on the extensions.

I am better off installing work for windows again. -_-

if you have a solution, please reply. Do not send me to forums, I am a
cyber crimes volunteer, I do NOT work with "socializing" online, and
most definitely do not do 'forums'. Only direct contact. Thank you.

Well, Microsoft has an army of engineers working on it and charge you
for the use of their application.
OpenOffice has a couple of volunteers working on it and give you the
application for free.

Even a simple change requires a lot of time for testing and
documenting the changes.

Another reason people should demand Congress establish a tax credit for
contributions to Open Source Software. Closed software is dangerous

and poses a risk to society worse than terrorists. Open source software
is in the public interest, and needs to be funded. Without a credit,
companies and individuals that donate to OSS, are at a disadvantage in

the marketplace. Those that don't pay, can use what they pay for and sell
it for less. OSS is the foundation for Blue ray players, but companies
that build them had no obligation or incentive to compensate people who
did the work. Inventors who want to contribute to the common good starve,
while companies that take advantage of their work get rich.
