I’ve just installed this software and it looks great. The installation files
are on my desktop (the default setting) but now it’s installed can I delete
this from the desktop or does it need to remain there for the software to work?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Yours,

Peter

Openoffice does not have the compatibility for publisher files. If you need
that you need to download Libreoffice.

During installation it gives you the options to set the openoffice programs as
the default programs.

Hello, I recently installed OpenOffice on my computer and was wondering how to
set this as the default by which documents open from the internet on my
computer. As of now, when I open a file from online, the file attempts to open
in Microsoft Office instead of OpenOffice. Thank you for the help, I
appreciate it,

Open office is free forever. However It is not a smart idea to post your phone
number on here.

Diane, in your last line, you've given your phone # to the entire world!!!
That's like painting it on the Empire State Bldg. Not a good idea.
Recommend you (a) get rid of that UserID and (b) change your phone # NOW!!
