Oder der Rechner ist ein Laptop und der OP kommt immer wieder mit dem 
Handballen aufs Touchpad.
Mich hat das wahnsinnig gemacht, bis ich gemerkt hab, was los war.

Entweder hast du kein passendes (d. h. deutsches) Wörterbuch
installiert, oder es ist die falsche Sprache eingestellt.

Letzteres kannst du unter "Extras => Einstelungen => Spracheinstellungen
=> Sprache" bzw. "... => Linguistik" überprüfen; in "Spache" sollte
alles auf "Standard - deutsch" stehen, und unter "Lingusitik" sollte u.
ä. der "Hunspell Spellchecker" angekreuzt sein.

Unter Extras => Extension-Manager" kannst du nachschauen, welche
Wörterbücher usw. bereits installiert sind, und ggf. weitere nachladen
oder überflüssige deinstallieren usw.

Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Klingt mir eigentlich eher nach einem
Treiberproblem oder sogar Hardwarefehler (Kurzschlüsse in der Tastatur
o. ä.).

Entweder hast Du keines oder das „falsche“ Wörterbuch zur Rechtschreibprüfung 
installiert oder aktiviert. Wie Du mit der Rechtschreibprüfung umgehst, und wie 
Du die Sprache für Textteile eingibst, entnimmst Du am besten aus der sehr 
guten Hilfe, die im Programm eingebaut ist.

Das glaube ich Dir nicht. „Der“ Cursor ist die blinkende Markierung, die sich 
nur nach Deinen Maßgaben verhält, also beim Eingeben von Text oder z.B. bei 
Befehlen mit den Cursor-Tasten auf der Tastatur.

Hilfe zu OpenOffice

Ich habe erst kürzlich OO installiert.

Mein Probleme:

1)))  Alle Worte, in allen Dokumenten sind rot unterstrichen.

2)))  Während des schreibens in einem Textdokument springt der Cursor 
willkürlich an eine, andere Stelle des Dokuments.


Wie löse ich die Probleme???

doc no writer with 3 pages, no word with 5 pages?

Hello, how are you?
I did this document in the writter, formatted with  page format a4. I
printed in a place near here and it has word 2010, at the time I did
not realize but I got home and left only 2 of the 4 images that were
on pages 2 and 3. I have word 2010 in the notebook and it happens the
same. What can be this difference of pages, opening from writter to
word, being that in both the default is the format of page a4? The
images are maps and formatting decreasing size to leave the same page
.

Table

I have been compiling a database in Open Office for several years on my
MacBook, originally with operating system Lion. There are now more than
5,000 entries.   From early days with Lion the icons at the top of the
Table have gone pale and do not work.  The icons are:

Select all,  Print,  Save current record,  Cut,  Copy,  Paste,  Undo:data
input,  Apply filter.

The relevant parts of the File menu have also gone pale and do not work.

The icon and File menu work perfectly well with the other Open Office
documents I occasionally use.

I have this year updated to the newest operating system, High Sierra but
nothing has changed to cure the trouble.  An adviser at my local Apple
shop suggested  I get in touch with you - which I find no easy matter.  In
the matter of the present slowness and erratic and unpredictable behaviour
of my MacBook he  suggested going back to Lion as the hardware is probably
not altogether compatible with High Sierra.  This information probably has
little bearing upon my difficulty but may be of interest.

I hope someone can help me, technically illiterate though I be.
