Problem

2019-10-25 Thread kandasson

Hello,

I am using OpenOffice and have been so for quite sometime now.
I am very pleased with it.
At the present the version I have on my computer is 4.1.5.
I have clicked on Check for updates and receive this, Checking for
an update failed., Error reading data from the Internet.  Server error
message: .

I don't know what to do.
    Can you please advise me?
    Thanks!

Go to www.openoffice.org/download/ and you will be able to upgrade to the
newest version (AOO 4.1.7)

Re: open office software SPREADSHEETS

2019-10-25 Thread John Clipper
Dear David,

I have been to the link you provided via Google . No mention of SORT.

Also I have never seen the TABLE 1 title appear on a spreadsheet. Perhaps it’s
from an older version.

I am now going to check out Alan’s utube presentation.

Thanks

Re: open office software SPREADSHEETS

2019-10-25 Thread John Clipper
Dear Alan and David,

I finally got it.

I highlighted all the rows by scrolling from top to bottom in col A. Row
numbers were highlighted.

Clicked on data-sort and voila, it worked.

Thanks for your patience.
