If you have Recovered a copy of the file (Save it under a new name for safety), 
close and restart OpenOffice.  This time select "Cancel" at the Recovery 
prompt, and you should have no further prompts for that recovery.

Keep having to Recover File

Hi, 

I have been using Open Office for many years. Tonight, all of a sudden the 
program crashed. Ever since I have to go to recovering mode, for each file, 
every time! Even for the files I have recovered a few times! How can I get back 
to the normal mode and not have to recover file each time? Am I going to loose 
some of my files and not be able to recover them?
