I don't know what you are doing wrong, but I had no trouble downloading

That's downright insulting and entirely incorrect, and from the synopsis

hardly qualified to make such sweeping statements.

Probably because he is not allowing automatic wrapping at line end and
is, instead, manually inserting a paragraph at his perception of a line
ending. This would also go some way to explaining his line spacing problem.

Typewriters have a lot to answer for. :-)

I suggest that you *should* be using Password Safe. It can be found here:

I've been using it for 10 years on WinXP, Win 7; Win10 and various Linux
flavours without problems.

Did you see this dialogue

"This image is rotated. Would you like to rotate it into standard
orientation?" If declined then right-clicking the selected image will
reveal a "rotate" option.

Brian, see above, but the "knowing" is with the operator in LO 5.1.2. :-)

The header has default center and right tabs.

 You could open the header
Type the text for the left aligned content, press tab twice, type the text
for the right aligned content, press enter, repeat on as many lines as
 needed.

NOTE: if the left aligned content extends beyond the center tab or if the
right aligned content comes back across the center tab the content will
move to the next line. To defeat this delete the center tab. If the center
tab is deleted then press tab once after entering left aligned content.

Why all the fuss over a trivial problem? As suggested earlier in this
thread, simply insert a single row table with an appropriate number of
columns into the header.

http://templates.openoffice.org/en/template/guide

Unfortunately, it is not. The guide only explains the process of
uploading a *new* template. My problem is to *update* an already
existing template. (Using this upload guide produces a duplicate
template entry on the website)

If I understand you correctly, you want to upload a modified template
and destroy the original? Don't you think the original author might have
a view about this attack on his work? It's also possible that you could
breach his licensing terms by this act.

Why don't you contact the author and establish his views?

As I already stated in my first mail, I want to update a template that I
uploaded by myself and that I have improved since then. So I am the
original author of the template I want to update.

I'm very sorry for missing that crucial information. It's hard to
believe that Apache and/or Oracle/Sun before them think that the
template management is satisfactory. A bug report might elicit some
useful response.

Best wished.
