The question submitted concerned the use of the above and, by way of example, I 
enquired about how to add the contents of two cells - pretty basic, I know, but 
I couldn't fathom it.

I downloaded OpenOffice yesterday and have been browsing around. I am most 
impressed. 

However, I am unable to use OpenOffice.org Calc. For example, how to add the 
contents of 2 cells? I have tried various ways but without success. Under the 
relevant entry in Help, I am told that this is not available/couldn't be found, 
followed by:

The following data could be helpful in locating the error.
