Re: [users] Problem With Creating Hyperlinks
Hi Franz, In Open Office help I read --- Insert Bookmark Inserts a bookmark at the cursor position. You can then use the Navigator to quickly jump to the marked location at a later time. In an HTML document, bookmarks are converted to anchors that you can jump to from a hyperlink. To access this command... Choose Insert - Bookmark Open Insert toolbar, click --- Is this the correct way to insert bookmarks? If this is so, how do I set a hyperlink to jump to that hyperlink? I have tried setting hyperlinks to bookmarks but they are never found. The way to insert bookmarks in a dokument/file or a homepage is known. And this is the only way to edit the html and get a correct page. sincerely Franz Wein - To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.org

Re: [users] Problem With Creating Hyperlinks
Hi Franz What is the answer to this issue? Do you mean that this has been acknowledged as an issue and needs to be fixed? Or do you mean that you now know how to jump to a named anchor/bookmark in a html file from another html file? Hi All, When I open the attached file with open office writer it opens as html source and not as a wysiwygweb page. It first wants to use the "ASCII Filter Options" dialog box and I OK it. I am using "OpenOffice.org 2.0.3" on a computer running Windows XP. Other .htm and .html files open in wysiwyg format. What am I doing wrong?
