Mea culpa!

However,

Errors should never pass silently.

Yeah, I figured that out. And did that.

It would be nice if the list added a note to the bottom of the message saying
"attachment deleted according to list policy"
instead of just silently deleting it and forcing us to try to figure out what
happend.

[users] openoffice menu problem

2009-12-28 Thread drew einhorn
All the menus are blanked out and unusable.
Looks like it might be some kind of system font problem.

Not sure I'm describing it properly, attached is a reasonable
sized screenshot (36K).

[users] using draw to modify .eps file

2009-12-05 Thread drew einhorn
I have a drawing in an .eps file that's pretty close to what I want modify.
Need to erase some stuff, add some arrows, arcs, labels, etc.

So far openoffice seems like it might be the program I want.

But there is some strangeness.

I can open the file and it looks fine.
I can pan and zoom to the area I want to work on.
I can add some arrows.

But if I pan some more to work on an adjacent area.
The stuff from the .eps file moves as expected,
but the arrows stay where they are.

I want the arrows to move with rest of the drawing.

Looking for all that, and the ability to compare different versions of the same
file that diverged from a common ancestor outside when the versions were
edited outside of these tools.
